Diet plays a crucial role in the management and control of blood pressure. A proper diet can significantly help reduce your blood pressure. The following are some dietary tips for patients with hypertension.

  1. Limit intake of animal protein. Meat, chicken, eggs and milk should be used in limited quantities. Vegetables and fruits should be preferred.
  2. Restrict the big energy 10-15%. Reduction of energy as fat as butter, butter, fish oil, groundnut oil, mustard oil, coconut oil and safflower oil in your diet. The total intake per day should be reduced to 5-10 grams. Preparing vegetables boiled almost without oil so that the main source of energy is carbohydrates with fibrous food.

Thin bread made from wheat flour should be preferred to bread and rolls.
  5. Strictly no smoking and alcohol.
