- Triphala is beneficial for cardiac patients. It is a combination of amla fruit three, Harad and Bahera. Soak one teaspoon of triphala powder in water overnight, the filter in the morning and drinking water daily.
- Take four leaves of holy basil leaves and two margosa with two to four teaspoons of water, empty stomach, for a week. This helps to reduce blood pressure.
- Include amla, , papaya, watermelon, carrot, onion, garlic, tomatoes and green vegetables in your diet. Indian gooseberry (BAL) taken with milk a day helps reduce the blood pressure.
- Stay fast once a week or 15 days. It helps normalize the digestive system, but if you feel weak and tired, fasting should not be done.
- Banana, lychee, mango, orange, pomegranate, coconut, pineapple, grapes and raisins are good for the heart healthy but guavas jackfruit and tamarind are harmful to the heart.
- Take wheat and chickpea flour in equal quantities and eat chapatti made from this flour.
- Radish, drumstick, cabbage, pumpkin, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, bitter gourd, cucumber, green mint and coriander leaves are good for the heart patient.
- Cauliflower, brinjal, lady finger and mustard greens are bad for the heart. Mustard greens have less fiber and more protein, so the heart must work harder by providing more blood to digest the leaves, putting the pressure on the heart.
- Take isabgul in the curd. You will feel satisfied after taking 1-2 teaspoons of curd isabgul in increasing the fiber content of the diet.
- Do not take water into food. This hampers the digestion.
