In fact, some doctors place to exercise as part of the requirement that grant medical patients, a drug like more.

In fact, a pace that regular exercise can make blood pressure go down a point. For example, decrease of 16-10 to 15-9 once the body gets used. This is because the heart is accustomed to work better after each session of exercise, especially of the aerobic.

This improvement can be explained in several ways. By training the heart muscle, it will be able to mobilize more blood with fewer beats per minute, so that the pulse will decrease and the heart will tire less quickly. In addition, arteries coronary, which are responsible for nourishing the heart, dilate better and allows an improvement of the entire circulatory system.

There are other benefits that so indirectly improve the health of the circulatory system and the body in general. The main benefit is weight loss can be achieved, especially if combined with a healthy diet . Exercise also results in decreased levels of cholesterol which benefits the arterial circulation.

Bad news
There are three “bad news” about high blood pressure (hypertension). First, any increase in blood pressure increases the risk of having a heart attack, but this does not mean you will have a heart attack. Second, there are more than 50 million Americans with this important medical condition, and one in two people over 60 high blood pressure. Third, many men and women do not even know they have high blood pressure because they just have symptoms, especially in the early stages.

Good news
If you already know you have high blood pressure and is an important first step. There are different ways and easy to control your blood pressure and therefore reduce their risk of stroke. Mortality rates for heart attacks in the U.S. have declined by 40-60% over the past 20 years, partly due to more effective control of blood pressure.

Your Choices
Your choice of trying to lower blood pressure and use physical activity as part of your treatment depends on how high is your blood pressure. If you have a blood pressure (systolic value greater than 180 or diastolic value greater than 110), treatment should be by medications. Once your blood pressure is under control, physical activity can lower your blood pressure even more. Exercise can also decrease the need for medications, but usually not completely eliminated. You should contact your doctor before starting a physical activity to be sure of exercise recommended for you. Currently recommended as initial therapy for people with small or mid-rises in blood pressure change (3 to 6 months) in lifestyle towards healthier behaviors – including physical activity, decreasing the salt in foods, and losing but -. However, you should consult your doctor to be sure that these recommendations are applicable to you.

What Can You Expect?
Exercise generally decreases systolic and diastolic value about 10 puntos.No is necessary to exercise for years to lower your blood pressure – you can even see the results after three to four weeks of training. Unfortunately for most people, a 10-point reduction is not sufficient to achieve a normal blood pressure, but higher levels of physical activity have benefits beyond blood pressure reduction. Exercise also helps control weight and improves cholesterol levels and blood glucose so that the risk of having a heart attack is lower, even if your blood pressure does not decrease to normal levels. Hypertensive individuals who are active and fit have lower mortality rates than their sedentary counterparts. Being more active is also beneficial for people with slightly high blood pressure (systolic 130 to 139 and diastolic pressures of 80 to 89) and those with normal blood pressure have a family history of hypertension. These individuals are more likely to develop hypertension in the future. The regular exercise can help prevent blood pressure from becoming a chronic problem.

How should exercise? There is no magical exercise to lower blood pressure. Many activities of daily living will have an effect – walking and climbing stairs for example. Other activities are also beneficial can be incorporated into your daily life, such as running, swimming, cycling … Nor do they have to be exhausted to lower your blood pressure. In fact, gentle exercise such as walking, can reduce blood pressure even more than more demanding activities such as running. A simple rule to follow is that physical activity should elevate your heart rate and breathing, to the point where he can still hold a conversation while doing the activity. You should consult your doctor before starting an exercise program more demanding (such as running), while a softer exercise like walking is good for heart health of almost everyone.

You need not change your life completely to incorporate the required amount of daily physical activity. A recent statement by prestigious institutions in the field of physical activity and health (ACSM and CDC) recommend that must accumulate 30 minutes or more of physical activity most days of the week. While some blood pressure medications can have negative side effects, side effects are generally positive exercise – weight control, improved blood sugar and cholesterol … When you make exercise can have injuries, but these risks are minimal if not disproportionately performed at the beginning and progresses slowly.

The details.
Most of us find it difficult to invest more time to exercise on a day that already we have taken – though this will help us improve our health. However, the physical activity required to lower blood pressure can be done without major changes in the way of life. Park your car at the other end of the parking lot, so you can walk to work. During the day, avoid the elevator and go up the stairs. In the afternoon or the weekend, take your children or nephews to the park, field or beach walking. On the weekends too hot, cold or rain, 30-minute walk through an area covered as a mall.

In short …
The good news is that any amount of physical activity is better than no physical activity and even low-intensity activities like walking, can lower your blood pressure. More exercise probably will not make your blood pressure is completely normal, but the good news is that the benefits of exercise for your condition and your cardiovascular system remain substantial and definitely worth it.

Numerous studies have shown that those with higher levels of vitamin C in their diet and their blood, tend to lower blood pressure. For those who already have high blood pressure, taking vitamin C could help reduce poverty.

How can a vitamin help regulate blood pressure? Vitamin C helps to combat problems with the lining of the arteries to harden the walls and make it difficult and impossible for them to relax when the signal arrives. Vitamin C may help reverse these problems, allowing the arteries to relax and widen more easily. There seems to be of importance that vitamin C comes from food or supplements. The more vitamin C is consumed, the greater the likelihood that it will help reduce high blood pressure, and lower the risk of developing it in principle.

Vitamin C also acts as a diuretic, helping the body release water and lower the volume of blood. It also works together with vitamin E to protect the blood vessels, preventing oxidation.

(Although some scientific studies and some individuals have found that vitamin C may help lower blood pressure, this fact has not been recognized by the FDA.)

Side effects: The potential side effects of vitamin C include sour s diarrhea.

Many people with high blood pressure has significant levels under mind ¬ vitamin E in their bloodstream, compared with individuals with normal blood pressure. This could be because those with good amounts of vitamin E are able to protect themselves from damage to the arteries that causes high blood pressure. Those who do not have this protection have an increased risk of developing this condition.

Vitamin E is known for its effect as thinning the blood, preventing dangerous blood clots and helping the arteries to relax. (Although some scientific studies and some individuals have shown a ¬ strated that vitamin E may help reduce blood pre sion, this has not been established by the FDA.)

Side effects: potential side effects of vitamin E include weakness, headache and nausea.

What is hypertension?
Is the term used to describe high blood pressure. Blood pressure is a measure of the force exerted against the walls of the arteries as the heart pumps blood through the body.

The blood pressure readings are measured in millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and usually given as two numbers. For example, 120 over 80 (written as 120/80). One or both of these numbers may be too high.

The top number is systolic pressure:
* To be considered high if most of the time is above 140.
* It is considered normal if most of the time is below 120.

The bottom number is diastolic pressure:
* To be considered high if most of the time is above 90.
* It is considered normal if most of the time is below 80.

Either or both numbers may be too high.

If you are overweight or obese, it stresses the heart, raising blood pressure. That’s why to stay at your ideal weight, without other changes, your blood pressure may return to normal. Even a slight weight loss aid. According to experts, if there were a million fewer obese people have 99.000 fewer cases of hypertension. As confirmed by numerous investigations, being overweight can cause high blood pressure and this, in turn, potentially fatal diseases such as cardiovascular disease (leading cause of death worldwide.)

Consequences of hypertension
* Aortic Dissection
* Damage to blood vessels (arteriosclerosis)
* Damage cerebral thrombosis or cerebral infarction
* Congestive heart failure
* Chronic kidney disease
* Heart Attack
* Hypertensive heart disease
* Peripheral artery disease
* Complications of pregnancy
* Cerebrovascular Accident
* Loss of vision

A systematic review published by the Cochrane Library , British scientists discovered that while reducing salt intake leads to seemingly minor reductions in blood pressure, that does not translate into a lower risk of death or heart disease.
Investigators said they suspect that the tests performed so far were not large enough to demonstrate any benefit to heart health, they proposed to do larger studies.

“With governments setting targets for even lower intake of salt and companies trying to remove their products is really important to do larger trials to understand the benefits and risks of reducing the use of salt, “said Rod Taylor, Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry of Exeter University, who led the review.

Most experts agree that eating too much salt is bad for your health and reduce their use may reduce high blood pressure in people with normal and high. But researchers have yet to demonstrate whether the benefit to the pressure results in better heart health in the general population.

Hypertension is a major risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, which are the leading cause of death worldwide. Taylor said he may not find great advantages for the small number of individuals studied and because the cuts in the use of salt were relatively small.

“People in the trials we analyzed only reduced their salt intake to a moderate, so the effect on blood pressure and heart disease was not big,” he said.

Many nations have enacted guidelines recommended by the governments that people reduce consumption of salt or sodium to benefit their health in the long term. The World Health Organization refers to the decreased use of salt in the top 10 ways to lower rates of chronic disease.

Taylor’s team found seven studies that together included 6489 participants. There were insufficient data to draw conclusions, but scientists believe they need at least 18,000 people to identify a clear benefit to health.

Garlic is regarded as the most effective ways to lower blood pressure. Is said to reduce spasms of small arteries. It also slows the pulse and modifies the heart rhythm, besides relieving the symptoms of dizziness, numbness, shortness of breath, and the formation of gas within the digestive tract. It can be taken in the form of raw cloves or two to three capsules a day.

Treating high blood pressure using rice

Rice is low fat, low cholesterol and low salt content. Makes a perfect diet for those hypertensive persons who have been advised salt-free diets. Calcium in brown rice, in particular, soothes and relaxes the nervous system and helps relieve the symptoms of high blood pressure. Treating high blood pressure using potato potatoes, especially in boiled form, are a valuable food for lowering blood pressure. When boiled in their skin, they absorb very little salt. They can form a useful part of a salt-free diet recommended for patients with high blood pressure. Potatoes are rich in potassium but not in sodium salts. The magnesium present in this vegetable exercises beneficial effects in lowering blood pressure. Treating high blood pressure using Parsley Parsley is very useful in high blood pressure. Contains the elements that help keep blood vessels, particularly capillaries. It keeps the arterial system in sound condition. It can be taken as a drink to simmer fresh parsley 20 gms in 250 ml of water for several minutes. This can be drunk several times daily. Treating high blood pressure using Rauwolfia Serpentina

Researchers have found that people who take potassium-rich diets have a low incidence of hypertension even if they do not control the salt. They have also found that people with hypertension do not seem to get much calcium in the form of dairy products. These two essential nutrients seem to help the body secrete excess sodium and are involved in important functions which control the functioning of the vascular system. Potassium is found in abundance in fruits and vegetables, and calcium in dairy products. Diet High Blood Pressure Diet High Blood Pressure People with high blood pressure should always follow a routine of a well-balanced diet of an exercise and adequate rest. Diet is of primary importance. Meat and eggs, more than any other food, raise blood pressure. From this health blog already discussed in previous issues with hypertension, one of the concerns of today’s society. On this occasion we why problems occur. We analyze what are the main causes of hypertension.

Must start from the assumption that hypertension is a disease that affects more than 30% of the Spanish who are between 35 and 64, and this percentage increases with age, so it is worth trying to find why does this disease: what are the causes of hypertension.

We can say that they are root causes of obesity, hypertension and obesity, coupled with a genetic predisposition, which must always be taken into account. Similarly, there are other factors that influence hypertension such as age, as we saw before, or gender, as men, before age 55 are more likely to have hypertension, while more than 75 years women have more risk. Keep in mind what foods contraindicated.

On the other hand, we can cite a number of secondary causes that affect blood pressure. Thus, excessive salt intake it seems like another decisive factor to trigger a high voltage. Affect sodium as salt.

Also, snuff, alcohol and a sedentary lifestyle with little physical exercise promotes the development of hypertension. Given this, people are less active have more hypertension than those who exercise regularly.

Finally, we should remember that it is considered that a person has hypertension when your blood pressure rises steadily above normal values, thus, a voltage above 140 mmHg and 90 mmHg (140, 90) is considered hypertension.
